+ Begin by picking a theme for your illustration. I decided to go with the cartoon theme of my childhood because I thought it would be nostalgic to be able to recall all the cartoons that I watched when I was little. Also, it would be fun to experiment with all the cartoon characters.
+ Firstly, sketch out your ideas on a piece of graph paper for proper measurement and precision.
+ Adjust brightness, sharpness and crop away any unnecessary edges in Photoshop.
+ Open the file in AI, begin tracing as usual. It takes a good amount of patience to complete everything.
+ Pick the colours of your choice. I decided to go with the similar colours with the original character but a little more pastel and sometimes more muted.

I decided to make a remake of BIGBANG's Made poster and colours using my illustration. I even changed the colours according to their albums, M, A ,D and E series.
