4; Photo Touch-ups & Panorama

Software: Adobe Photoshop CS6
Tools: Adjustment tools, Patch tool, Clone Stamp, Eraser, Brush tool, Sharpen tool, Eyedropper tool, Automate tool, Type tool

For the first image, (a picture of my very photogenic cat) I wanted to eliminate the distracting image of the rustic baby bed the background (don't ask me why it's there). This picture was taken using Nikon D5500 using the monochrome mode.

Firstly, duplicate your image. Next, use the cloning stamp/patch tool to erase the distracting object. Since it's in B&W, it is easier to camouflage the background. Cloning stamp is basically cloning the nearby texture/object from the image you want to delete and stamping on it. Same principle is used for the Patch tool. The cloning process/patching is continued until the bed is completely gone.

Next, using the sharpen tool, I sharpened the edge of my cat's ears so that the tiny furs are not blurred out. Lastly, to add vignette, I used the gradient tool and set it to radial, I adjusted the brightness and contrast and added watermark.

This product shot was taken during Photography class using Nikon D5500.

To eliminate the annoying lighting equipment in the background, the brush tool was used since the background is just black. Using the eyedropper, pick the colour nearest to the equipment and then duplicated the image. Using a soft round brush with the colour picked, carefully paint on the equipment to eliminate it. If the colour gets on the main objects, erase it with a smaller soft brush.

Next, the same process was used. Use the gradient tool to create soft vignette around the objects and adjust the brightness and contrast. The vibrance tool was also used to bring more colour to the liquid. Lastly, add watermark and you're pretty much done.
